Our appeal for you to adopt a lion for a month is
ongoing and with the imminent arrival of more lions it is essential that we
receive your continued support on our Adopt a Lion campaign.
The Cats
Rescue Centre is not just home to lions, but any large predator in need of help
is temporarily held at the centre. So far we have accommodated lions, cheetahs,
wild dog and hyena. All of these animals were in desperate need of help and the
facility has made it possible for the animals to be held, stabilised and
operated on where necessary. From the Cat’s Rescue Centre all the animals
released so far have been returned to the wild successfully. We hope to be able
to keep this up.
As stated in our previous appeal – feeding the animals
with good quality food remains very expensive and without your continued support
we will have to turn down any new intakes. I would therefore appreciate you
continuing adopting your own lion for a month at a time. Your donation will
ensure that we can support the animals and ensure their continued health and
well-being.
An adult lion can be adopted for $300.00 per animal and a cub
for $100.00 per cub per month. A wild dog can be adopted for $200.00 per month
and a hyena for $150.00 per month. When you adopt a specific animal we will send
you a beautiful photographic enlargement of your chosen animal that can be
framed and displayed in your home or office. If you need more information kindly
please email louise@sanwild.org
Some of you have already adopted one of
the animals and I would like to ask you to please email me and tell me which
animal you would like to adopt. Make sure to include your postal details so that
we send you your enlarged photograph.
